    Big Bend State Park - Just one mile south of Laughlin's residential area, this new state park offers stretches of sandy beach with picnic areas & boat launch ramps, camping and RV parking. Open 24 hours daily.

    Chloride, AZ - Travel back in time to this historic 1860s silver mining town - site of the area's richest silver mines and famed canyon mural paintings painted by artist Roy Purcell. Locals are known to put on some good old-fashioned Vaudeville and, just for fun, they might break into a gunfight or two on select dates. This quaint town is just 46 miles northeast of Laughlin.

    Colorado River Historical Society Museum at Davis Camp - Just minutes away, you'll see replicas of famous Laughlin area landmarks, historical displays & artifacts including pioneer cooking utensils and early slot machines. Free admission (donations graciously accepted).

    Colorado River Tours - Cruise the Colorado River on a turn-of-the-century replica of a Mississippi paddle wheeler, modern-day kayak or canoe. Jet skis and boats are also available for rent.

    Grand Canyon - Tour one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Grand Canyon National Park is only a short 3-hour drive from Laughlin.
